Quadstone Paramics is pleased to announce the latest release of their award winning Paramics software, V6.1. This update includes many new features requested by users and some major additions in functionality including:
Estimator Data Validation Tool: A new addition to Estimator that performs basic logic and arithmetical checks on observed count data and advises of locations where possible conflicts occur. This tool is invaluable for finding simple coding errors in your observed data specification helping you to reach a higher quality solution in a shorter time frame.
Analyser Network Conflicts Browser: An old favourite re-introduced to Analyser in the new V6 format. This tool reports the discrepancies found between the base and the variant network used in displays i.e. between base and test network scenarios.
Analyser Display Control Tool Bar: A new convenience features providing toolbar buttons for management of display control settings.
Analyser to Processor Manager Integration: This new feature is the productivity tool you've all been waiting for. From 6.1 you can configure, execute, and summarise your Analyser high detail reports directly from your runs specification in Processor Manager. This means you can configure simulation runs and choose the types of reporting options you want to use based on an Analyser report template stored in the Project Library. Once complete Processor will automatically generate your Analyser reports and create a Analyser workspace allowing quick access to the results. Simulate, average, summarise, and have the results delivered to your Inbox all with a few mouse clicks!
Over the last 8 weeks feedback from our V6 workshops and from users experiences have generated a wealth of valuable information about the kind of features you want to see in the Paramics software. You told us what you wanted and we listened! I'm please to report that 6.1 includes more than 30 user generated feature requests of varying size and complexity including:
- Crosshair coordinate included in the Modeller status bar
- The option to display a company banner or logo
- Split seeds options enabled for new networks
- Network skeleton and link visibility display available from the layer selector
- Easier operation of the Project Library
- Automatic notifications of software updates
- User definable start node number and optional node name prefix
- Total number of simulated vehicles added to the Nv display in the Modeller status bar
- Demands values added to the Route Viewer Info Browser information
- Options to automatically generate Tracer reports when a vehicle exits the network
- Apply to all and Select all options added to the Measurements editor
- Version checking between Processor Manager and Node
- Option to force all existing vehicles to re-calculate their immediate route choice following a dynamic feedback update
- Wheelie Mouse option to inverse zoom in/out actions
- Improved Project Library access for the Core Network settings
- Improved layout of some editor sections
Needless to say we take our responsibility to provide high quality, stable, and secure software very seriously. You'll be pleased to here that we have found and fixed more than 70 bugs throughout the Paramics range making 6.1 the most stable and dependable release of the software ever produced.
